They’re strong, confident, beautiful and funky. And they are also as cool as cucumbers – we shot this session last night in Portland where the temperature was about 150 degrees, but do you see a trace of a sweaty brow or flushed cheek? No. They are just plain awesome. Today is their mom’s birthday. Happy Birthday, S!

Here is R all by her lovely, graceful, elegant self. No Georgie this time! Although if you look very closely you might spot him sneaking around. Like Where’s Waldo…
(That’s a lavender field above – it smelled so wonderful.) Loving those lavender shots(: Oh my goodness….I LOVE all that lavender! What a perfect portrait with the sweetest kiss of summer evening light! Love these! Beautiful girl! I’ll be back tomorrow with some more from R’s awesome session, but first I’d like to introduce my new employee, Georgie. It was a hot evening, and at this point R was starting to think that going home to her cool house and having some tasty dinner sounded like a good idea. Can you see it in her eyes? She is tired. But there is a lavender field at sunset waiting for us, and I can’t let R go yet! Just a few more minutes, R, and the golden light over the lavender will be just perfect! So R bravely soldiers on. But wait…who is this? It’s Georgie, who is a photographer’s assistant extraordinaire.
He gives R a little smooch and a friendly snuggle…
And look! R is happy again! I love this one.
Well done, Georgie. You can relax now.
