I first met Renee a couple of years ago when her mom and a couple of friends booked a combined Moms and Daughters session as surprise Christmas gifts for their husbands. I didn’t put the session on my blog at first as it was a big secret, and I’ve realized it looks like I didn’t remember to do it in January, which is too bad because it was a great session and a wonderful idea! Anyway, Renee is back, just as beautiful, still a committed athlete and student, all grown up and ready for her senior year.

Renee’s dad has been her softball coach for many years, so this photo is a really nice addition to her senior portraits..

Teddy and Bailey. Bailey is a sweet old lady, but Teddy, being a youngster and full of bounce, has to be commended for (mostly) not chasing the many rabbits that were hopping around and teasing him..

This adorable family was just fantastic to work with – so much real life love and fun and snuggles!

M’s describing his favorite dinosaur to me. It has a hooky horn thing on its nose..

The photo below is a special surprise for Mom. She didn’t see us take this one, so this is the first time she’s seen it. I hope you love it, Mama J!

“Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.” -Dan Gable

Micah is a talented three-sport athlete – take a look at that amazing letterman’s jacket, it’s a work of art! – as well as a great student and all-around great guy. He had some ideas about his senior portraits and it was fun to work with him to bring those ideas to life.

I am always so honored when families come back to me again and again – Micah is Tyler‘s younger brother from last year. What a cool family!
